A Silent Thought
A little girl sat silently beneath a tree of green she marveled the mystery of all the wondrous things she watched the gentle grass as it blew to and fro she saw a golden butterfly put on a joyous show she saw the raindrops as they came slowly down upon the flowers it did fall to spread a melodic sound she watched as the sun faded behind the hill in a silent thought she knew the world was still
