When You're Near
You know the feeling...

My body is charged with unknown emotions
A tingling sensation from my toes to my head
And all of this from just your presence.
As you come closer, and I see your dazzling smile
My knees almost give out
I stumble about, acting like a fool.
You touch me tenderly
And the pleasure and pain collide
And unite to create intense ecstasy.
You are the one truth, the one light
In this world of darkness and deceit.
And when your lips press against mine
I know the wheels of fate have spun in my favor.
When our kiss ends,
And you disappear into the night,
I feel complete satisfaction
Knowing that you will come again,
And all of these feelings will be renewed.
