FORGIVE ME FATHER

Forgive me Father I have
Not followed your command.
I ignored what my conscience
In your name did demand.

Forgive me that I have not
Walked on the path you showed.
I converted into sin
The virtues you bestowed.

Forgive me that I cared not
To spread your word and praise.
I lost sight of Commandments
In empty worldly haze.

I have come to you Father
Now I am deep in sin.
But you will yet redeem me,
I have a hope within.
