What has poetry become
When love is no longer its key? Can we still write a poem When we can no longer see? What is poetry When the words are of mind, And not of heart? Form is not the key to poetry, Words of heart are one of a kind, Thus true poets are a breed apart. Poets of the heart do not think, Poets of the heart feel. Poets of the heart blink So as to see what is real. This is a poem for the true poets Who express their hearts in emotional sonnets
