If I could be a shadow
Which shadow would I be The shadow of my mother Because she's perfect to me She's always been there When I needed her the most Though times she was more of a Heavenly host She helped bring me from a place I never wanted to be To a place full of beauty As far as the eye could see So if I were her shadow I would stay by her side Through all of her years And never will I hide Now it's my turn To give her what she deserves A shadow that'll always be there When she needs me the most
