Took a walk to realize that my unrequited love has no end.

I watched the days fade into weeks.
I watched the weeks fade into months.
I watched the months fade into years.
I watched the years fade into memory.

I walked on the road alone, not knowing where to turn, not knowing when to turn.
I walked on the road alone, never bothering to wonder where the end was, never bothering to wonder if there was an end.
I walked on the road alone, the gray asphalt never changing colors, the gray asphalt mocking my mood.

I picked two flowers, four petals each I spoke to myself, four petals each I prayed four prayers.
I picked two flowers, four petals each the road turned left, four petals each I sought unsuccessfully to go right.
I picked two flowers; four petals each, one for fate, one for God, one for love, one for luck
I picked two flowers; four petals each: he loves me…he loves me not…he loves me …he loves me not…
