Unconditional Love
        by Lost Poet  (scalpripper@Writing.Com)
Every time I cared
Every time I tried
You pushed me away
You always lied

You kept me away
But used me when you could
Though despite these action I still cared
I thought maybe you understood

I loved you with all my heart
Though we were always away
I looked forward to when we got together
I always waited just for one special day

Your friends were more important
And you never had time
I still waited like a fool
Now the church bells chime

My casket is carried away
You didn’t even pay your respect
I’m gone for good
And your reaction isn’t what I would expect

You didn’t show up
But you stayed home and cried
You realize what you had done wrong
And now it was to late, I had died

But your forgiveness is accepted
I understand the troubles that you have
Your friends are always more important
Heck look at the wonderful life you have

Most people would be angry
But not me
One day you to will die
Then you will see

I love you
And I forever will
But don’t die too soon
When you get here I will love you still
