His Lip Shakes

What the Hell is going on,
He cried again today.
Tears filled his eyes once realized,
He failed in many ways.

His lip shakes, his face is pruned.
His eyes they turned blood red,
As tears drip down his face,
Wetting his shaking, trembled head.

He saw a lad who’d tried his best,
As his goal moved farther away.
Day in and out he counted time
With tears that ruled his way.

None can dry his wave of tears
But him, it’s clear as day.
That ease of simple resolve
Lost in his tearful rave.
