Dawn.

Cloud drifts by the summer sky;
Blissful. Careless.
The world goes by ...
  And by ...
      And by.
Faster. Restless.

Noon.

Time flows,
  Wind blows,
      Earth goes:
Time's our master!
Cloud goes:
Fly! Soar! Hover!

Day ends, cloud slows;
  Thinking.
      Waiting.
        Wondering.
Lonely cloud knows:
She's not -
  Looking,
      Watching,
        Dreaming.

Cloud pours. Darkness.
Oceans fill. Moon rises.

Starless night,
Blue moon bright,
But broken.
Praying,
  Haunting,
      Thinking.

Tomorrow I'll be the sky again;
But tonight, I'll be the moon again.

What will be, will be.
What will be, will be.
What will be, will be.
What will be, will be.

Dawn.
