DUST

Cleaning is overrated. Betty thought to herself when she got home from work, grimacing at the dust thick on the television screen. The house was always dusty, no matter how often she cleaned. It was almost as if the dust in her home had a life of its own. She reminded herself that dust mites were probably why she always woke up congested.

She sighed as she picked up her duster and went into the bedroom to tackle the dust bunnies under the bed. As she knelt on the hardwood floor she heard a rustling sound and curiously peered under the bed. The last thing she ever saw was a set of sharp dusty fangs.
