Summerfield

Scent of sage and sweet grass swirl in my head,
A shower of dried leaves represent the rain.
Sunflowers blossom in every corner of the day,
Chirping of sparrows and squeaks of squirrels support the sun's rays.

If I was a king,
I would own a thousand gold rings.
Each representing a bell's ring,
I'll carry a dozen sunflowers and play on a swing.

A hill towers over the land,
Sweet scent of roses enrich the skies.
The heavens above will be blue and never black
so that there will never be dark clouds again.

If you were my guest,
I would give you a thousand silver nets.
Each representing a healthy fish so wet,
I'll throw it away and bother next.

Red mushrooms grow on the paths,
Waterfalls thunder, mighty and loud.
Everyone won't cry, they will laugh,
This world will never have enough.

If I live on a hill,
I would give you a thousand bronze windmills.
Each representing the lungs of settlers and fish's gills,
I'll climb an apple tree and watch the air twirl.

Deer and antelope roam,
The oceans and clouds foam.
No one will die easily here,
There's no fight and no fear.

If you were our king,
I'd bear upon your throne.
I'll make sure no one's ever alone,
We'll live for all long.

If the scent of sage and sweet grass vanishes,
If the fishes and birds don't breathe,
I'll be sitting and watching from a tree
to make sure that the sun will shine for eternity.
