Edit: After receiving a good amount of feedback, I've decided to remove the infodump that was originally here. Thanks to everyone who reviewed and commented me.

There are two general threads in the story. One thread follows Bral Ranyr, a Captain in the Imperial Fleet, as he deals with the necessities of Fleet life and his own promotion to Admiral. The other thread follows Will Ryder, a comparatively young (26) and already highly successful businessman. Though these two characters (probably) will not share "screen time", they both exist in the same universe and a number of characters and events will tie the two together. Lately, I have been focusing on Bral, but I plan to return to Will's story in the near future.

This is very much a work in progress. I have a great deal of background information in place already, but I am willing to change whatever needs changing in order to make a more sensible, fluid, and enjoyable story. Please contact me with any suggestions you might have.
