As silver tears fall you're there to catch them Into your arms, you so graciously take me cradling me into reassurance Only love and comforting words you speak soothing my body and soul Your voice is warm and endearing as if you know nothing else Lying with you is a blessing something I don't dismiss Holding me close to you, protecting me My heart races, yet I've never felt such a peace within me You let me fall asleep first I can feel your eyes as they soften you kiss me goodnight When I finally wake, I know I'm whole again You're an angel as you sleep a guardian in your wake I smile, knowing your outlook on such things Gently kissing your forehead Our eyes meeting for the morning Silently I dub you my Guardian Angel
