The redeeming factor is hope

No matter how dim the light of life, hope is always at our beck and call. Meaning we all have it, all the time.  Tuning into it is challenging for a lot of us.  I know we sometimes go through life, and not even have a glimmer of hope, or so it appears.  I have lived many lives in this life, and I know that the events can overcome, and snuff out even that glimmer of hope.

The spark of creation that is ours, and has come from His mercy  is a spark of remarkable power.  From that power come the graces given everyone.  The power to heal, and console loved ones.  The power to overcome huge obstacles to complete specific goals.  The power to love and be truthful.  To give of one’s self for the betterment of neighbors, and friends.  Exhibiting your loving core of Christianity through your demeanor of pleasantness, kindness, humbleness, these being the three that come foremost to mind.

Romans 5:12-19 - Just as sin came into the world through one person and death came through sin, so death spread to all because all have sinned.

Sin was indeed in the world before the law, but sin is not reckoned because there is no law.  Yet death exercised dominion over Adam and Mosses even over those whose sins were not like the transgression of Adam, who is a type of the one who was to come.

But the free gift is not like the trespass.  For if the many died because of the one person’s trespass, much more surely have the grace of God and the free gift in the grace of the one, Jesus Christ, abounded for the many.  And the free gift is not like the effort of that one person’s sin.  For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the gift following many trespasses brings justification.

If, because of the trespass of one, death exercised dominion through that one, much more surely will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness exercise dominion in life through the one, Jesus Christ

Therefore just as the trespass of one led to condemnation for all, so the act of righteousness of one leads to justification and life for all.  For just as by the disobedience of one person the many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one person the many will be made righteous.

The magnitude and infinite graces of God to us is seen as we live our lives day to day, with the joy of Christ in the heart.  A beacon of light shining to the world, letting all know that we are at the call of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Luke 11:33 - "No man tendeth a lantern, and putteth it in huddles neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they that go in, see light."

So with strong resolve to be at the service of the Lord, and in turn service to one another; the sun sets in sure reliance on it rising for tomorrow.
