IS THERE A GOD: a chronos

I do believe that there is a god.
But, then, if one is there at all,
Why does he keep quiet,
When men announce that he exists not
And declare there is none?

• A chronos is supposed to be a single stanza poem with the syllabic counts 9,8,6,9,6.
