God Loans us Children
Come away sweet love, the golden morning breaks. No rush to honor beauty, time to laugh at life's surprises. Watch leaves dance in wild winds. Our hourglass overflows, hungry bodies linger in loving bliss. Come away sweet love, our life is full of wonderous joys. Delight in sunrises of rubies and gold, behold power of magnificent seas given for us to tame and enjoy. All this, and yet promised the best is still to come. Come away sweet love, our two souls join. God graciously bestows to us James, son of Autumn. He is strong and beautiful, like a oak with deep roots. A loving, confident child destined to be a magnificent man.
