Dreaming Fondness

Warm caress,
A loving touch;
Fondness long forgotten.
Injured heart's weeping strings;
Foreseen in dream's encore.
Sweet plain of bliss,
Soothing light, and sound,
Surround the path love's taken
On tattered gravel ground.
Now love moves
To there from here,
The tattered path
Gently washed clear now found.
This dream in Neverland,
Love fondness paced
So very long ago.
The sound, and sight,
Of minds delight;
Dream's fondness soars.
Soothing light cast in love,
Hence now here in store.
Dream's pass time,
Seize frozen rhyme;
Love's mental canvas scored.
