ETERNAL SLEEP
Hit by a drunken driver

This item requires reviews with ratings.

I lie in a dream world, broken and battered,
because of a drunken driver, my life shattered.
Hooked up to a machine that keeps me alive,
I wonder what will happen, and if I’ll survive.

I hear Mommy and Daddy, they’re calling out to me,
telling me to wake up, how empty their lives will be.
I feel their tears, and try to open my eyes.
It breaks my heart to think of goodbyes.

I see a bright light, and I feel very weak;
try to say something, but cannot speak.
“I love you”, my mind screams when the machine starts to beep,
as I’m swept into the arms of God’s Angels to eternally sleep.
