Ladies is it worth it?
Fed up and questioning poem for the ladies. Wondering how much are we willing to take?

Ladies is it worth it?

Those lips that draw your eyes…
That make you salivate
That take your mind to that distant place
The land of two souls brilliantly connected
Never to be torn apart by time or space…

Those blissful moments…
Where love and pain collide
That beautiful agony…
That can never be explained or shared.

But what of every other moment?

What of those moments where those lips leaked venom
That made you shutter
That take your mind to the last time
Where you have to hide the evidence
Never to speak of past wrongs

Those horrifying moments…
Where you choose your words carefully
Knowing each could possibly be your last

How much are those few fleeting moments worth?
Is it worth your?
Good black don’t crack,
But it does bruise

Body, mind or soul
You can do better ladies
Fleeting bliss isn’t worth lasting scars.

How much is your peace of mind worth to you?
