I am the Sun Goddess.
I make the sun shine on the earth.
I let the sun shine on the land.
I warm the earth.

I help the flowers and trees to grow.
I also help the farmers to grow their crops.
I am the Sun Goddess.
Sometimes, the trees and crops reach toward the sky for rain.

At these times, I let the rain take over and I don't shine.
Is there a Rain Goddess, you ask?
No. When I don't shine, the rain will fall
and the clouds will hide my light.

I love to shine down on the water and watch the ships sail
and the creatures and people enjoying the warmth that I give.
If you get sun burned, it isn't my fault.
Humans need to use some sense.

As a Sun Goddess, I have the power to give off light and give you a beautiful day.
In the winter, I shine in some areas of the land more then others.
I will always be around. Without me, you would always have dreary days.
So. Respect me, worship me, fear me but never doubt my power!
I am the Sun Goddess!
