CHRISTMAS MESSAGES: award winner
To all of us, Christmas does In a manner remind That it carries messages Of so many a kind. The first message, obvious, Is doing what Christ said. He taught frugality, we Live lavishly, instead. The second message is that We rejoice in Christ’s birth And, with family and friends, We sing and dance with mirth. The third message is we should Have love for all mankind And, towards the suffering Of others, not be blind. * Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format. * Honorable Mention Award winner in the "TRADITIONAL POETRY CONTEST" * Originally written as entry no. 473384 in FAITH, NATURE & INSPIRATIONAL 959448.
