AN OLD MAN’S SAGA
It is true that I am old But don’t think I am senile. Take from me that it is true I am mentally agile. My hand may just shake a bit But my thought is yet steady. To face newer challenges I am even now ready. When I render you advice It is not a criticism Although the young view it as My judgmental cataclysm. Make your hay while the sun shines; Take from me while I can give. It will not last forever; Yes, one day I will not live. * Written in abcb, 7-7-7-7 format. M C Gupta 17 June 2007
