I wish...

I wish I could,
omit all my mistakes and,
make things right,
I wish I could shatter,
the hearbreak
and dream a better dream;
then sometimes I wonder,
if one can ever start anew,
are new beginnings also,
or will they also be sneered upon by,
everyone and you?
I wish it were possible for me,
to erase it all from my mind,
will it be an illusional escapde?
Or will I reallly leave it behind...
I wish I could bring others happiness
and have some of my own,
I wish I could bring the moments
in life where like a star I had shone,
I wish I could make a painting
and hang it on a wall,
using from within me the colours I dislike,
demolish the hatred
and that would be all it would take
to help me get away,
why does not then anyone answer my call?
I wish I could help mend broken hearts,
and once again help them beat,
I wish I could like a shower of rain,
was away the heat.
I wish I could close all doors that lead souls,
into the dark and steal away some gaity
from the heart of a lark,
then why cannot we just all learn to forgive and forget,
why don't we all just let the world be a better place?
I wish everyone would just choose a better path,
and then encourage the beguiled travellers(Insha Allah(God-willing)!) to,
make a fresh start.
