CLOSED DOOR THEORIES
When we think that we know all And keep closed the mind’s door, Ignorant and arrogant We would then become sure. Little knowledge is truly A thing quite dangerous. It leads, without forethought, to Actions precipitous. US in its arrogance Started the Iraq war, Which has caused heavy loss of Money and men so far. Behind closed doors it made up WMD theory, For concocting which, never, George Bush has felt sorry. It is said, pride hath a fall. US, too, can’t escape. It’s going to find itself Ere long in a bad shape. * Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 syllabic format M C Gupta 20 June 2007
