GOING NOWHERE
The path is long, the evening draws. Please help me Lord, pardon my flaws.

GOING NOWHERE

I seem to be going nowhere,
Though I walked all along.
The destination eludes me,
Just to paths I belong.

It’s not that I’m directionless
But I chose the wrong ways.
The sun sets in the horizon.
My hope now rather sways.

No longer I perceive my path.
My knees are bent, I’m tired.
Lord, I now need Your helping hand;
In despair I am mired.

Please show me light and lead my path,
So I don’t go astray.
In darkness that is increasing,
You are the only ray.
