WHITHER SCIENCE?
Through science that is yet half-baked, Earth has been by man forsaked. In order to keep balance, Science must have a social sense. Man causes much pollution, Which is without solution. On burning oil he’s intent, Thus spoiling environment. He makes bombs designed to kill Those who were made by His will. Genetic engineering May one day much havoc bring. Trying to be immortal! Oh, what a dream, you mortal! Why earth’s not enough for you? You want other planets, too! * Written in aabb 7-7 format • Originally written as item 782116, substituted on 9 May 2005 by entry 346146 in the book “Science, Medical, Law, Humour, Children”, "SCIENCE, MEDICAL, LAW, HUMOR, CHILDREN" M C Gupta 25 November, 2003.
