IRAQ WAR: a limerick
President Bush, too cunning was he. He told Iraq “You’ve WMD”. For this he blamed Saddam, Though he denied he’d them, And launched a bombing spree. • Llimerick: a 5-line light or humorous poem written in aabba rhyme. (Classically, the meter is supposed to be anapestic. Lines 1, 2, and 5 have 3 feet and lines 3 and 4 have 2 feet each). M C Gupta 24 June 2007
