In Half A Lamb's Whisper In half a lamb's whisper I could fall asleep. Into a dream land, A comfort that's so deep. After a long day of school I seem to feel so weak. My mind ,body, and spirit Are tamed to total meek. Then when I awake All rested and complete, I make my bed, stretch, eat, Splash my face and get all neat Study hard in school, Smile at people that I meet. Sing, laugh, listen, Even play, and compete. Then again it's time to go home, Eat, and brush my teeth. Do my homework and my chores, Then ice cream is a treat. Read a book, make a report; Then I feel complete. Then in half a lamb's whisper I could fall asleep. ---Gayle Crawford © Copyright 2002 Gayle
