Water War With the World
a poem about being young and not understanding people

Sometimes, I can't help but cry
With all this crap going on
All this trouble I'm in
I feel like all I do is sin

So I scream out to the world
I'm not who you think I am!
But all they reply back with is
You're not the only one that cries...

It's not that I only care about myself
Just I don't have the time to care about everyone else
If I could I would, but I can't
My tears are hard enough

I've tried to care about others
But it feels like all I do is interfere
So all I can do is nothing
Out comes even more tears

Today it finally got me thinking
If I can't care, how can they?
But all they reply back with is
You're not the only one that cries...

It seems as though the tears will never end
This water war can never stop
We can all pretend the happy ending
But, we'd cry because we all lost.
