WRITE FOR LIFE by Rusty Cason Flamboyantly we flaunt our thoughts with quill in hand we chatter. To summarize exquisitely events that seldom matter. Here in our world are starving children; their skins wear many shades. While chitchat motivates our phrase, countless people die from AIDS. Does your ink flow like crimson blood, symbolic of freedoms fight? Will you separate yourself with words to live for what is right? Shall you find the strength to speak of woes once taken from your sight? Our Earth is slowly dying with our atmosphere in tatters. Politicians ban our praying, while our faith begins to fade. Do your written words lift up a cause or do you simply write?
