"That's because you don't know anything about them."
"I know all I want to know. Will you please stop talking about them? You're making me feel creepy."
"You feel creepy because you don't know anything about spiders. Do you know that each one makes three kinds of silk? That each species builds a unique style of web?"
"Don't talk about webs."
"Did you know that spider silk is stronger than steel?"
"Stop it!"
"Did you know that there are probably twenty or more of them living in this house right now?"
"Did you know that you are getting close to not living here any more?"
"I just want you to realize you're prejudiced against a wonderful species because you refuse to learn about them. Your first thought when you see one is, kill it.”
"Before it bites someone? Of course kill it."
"Why are you so sure it's going to bite? Maybe it's just living its life the way it's supposed to."
"Well not in my house, I want you to go up there and kill that spider.”
"What did it do to you?"
"Nothing yet. Why wait until it does something?"
"So you say kill everything in case it might do something?"
"I say kill the spider that's in my bathtub! It doesn't belong there and I want to take a shower."
"I'll try to catch it and put it outside, will that satisfy you?"
"Do it!"
"Yow!"
"What's the matter? Can't you catch it?”
"You didn't tell me it was that big! Where's the bug spray?"
