HAPPY 4th of JULY to the U.S.of A.

Every day of the year, all around the world
There are countries who'll have celebrations,
To rejoice in their history and the progress they've made
And show pride in their countries - their Nations!

My country, Australia, has many allies,
And the bond that we have with your land
Is strong, and support that we give one another,
In good times and bad, is just grand.

In days that were troubled, we've fought side by side
And we've shared in some victories and glory.
We cheer for you loudly in sporting events,
Unless we're in that race - different story!

Our competitive spirit - it is just as strong
As yours, as we each play to win.
Whoever takes Gold in the sport of the day,
The loser shakes hands with a grin!

Today is the day that the U.S. of A.
Will fly flags of red, white and blue,
And all come together as a nation so proud.
