EYES OF A POET
Through a poet's eyes we see The things that life can give A tree, a flower, a bird that sings A chance to be forever free Through the verse of poetry We travel far and wide To distant lands and mountains To heart and heavens high We see the world through their eyes As only they can tell The poet's world is full of joy And makes our hearts swell.
