TO MEND A HEART
Today I found a broken heart that had fallen on the ground it lay there so lonely with no one else around I reached down and picked it up and with a tender word I began to mend it as a broken wing upon a bird I took a golden thread of love and sewed the hope back in then I gave it caring to start over again Soon the heart filled with pride and ready to start anew I put it back where it belonged I gave it back to you.
