Dream
A poem I wrote while at work one day.

A silence weeps
And while it sleeps
In swaths of crimson and gray
The bleeding stops
To glistening drops
I'm holding the pain at bay
The dream it holds
In gentle folds
All that is lovely and fae
But can you not see
How we'll never be free
Dreams only ever betray
