As I stare in your young eyes
I wonder what your future holds
What will life be like for you?
what on this earth will you grow to do?
Though there's not much that I can do
I hope that you will let me in
You know how much I care for you

Rememberance Day

It was a grey, rainy day
my hometown cenotaph
They were laying wreaths as I walked on past
I thought of my Grandpa, and men like him
and everything they fought to win

Stuck for words

I wish I could express myself, in words, just how I feel
That represent who I want to be, The way I want to seem
but the thoughts turn into words, that lose their impact
not at all like in my dreams
I wind up sounding shy and nervous
not how I want to be

Holiday Depression

Winter days make me think of Christmas
which should be a happy time
but only makes me anxious, and makes me lose my mind
depression then takes hold of me
as the snow begins to fall
and I wonder who to talk to
and who there is to call
