We met two years just gone,
You sat opposite me in the room,
And though dressed in black you shone,
brighter than the sun or moon.
My heart missed a beat,
Staring at you for what seemed an hour,
But not a minute since you took your seat,
You were as beautiful as a flower.
Call me what you will,
An idiot and a wimp even a coward,
For you see I wasnt strong will'd,
Around you I stammered.
We did Macbeth in class,
And i touched your face for the first time,
It was then I wished the seconds would not pass,
For I could imagine you mine.
One cold and rainy day,
I was on my way to Dawson Road,
when I met you on my way,
And you made me forget the cold.
From that day on things changed,
You began to look at me how I looked at you,
Your eyes seemed to talk of something strange,
This was a feeling to me all new.
One night I texted you,
I wasn't expecting a reply back,
But out of the blue a simple 'hello'
It was then we took off and i never looked back.
I walked you home,
Everyday though it was an hour out my way,
A chance was all I wanted,
To spend more time with you each day
Then one day in Mcdonalds,
We flirted for hours with eachother,
And for the first time we held hands,
And i felt warm all over.
You went to catch your bus,
I didnt want you to go but i walked you anyway,
As your bus arrived you turned and kissed me with lust,
I was so happy i jumped and shouted 'yippee'.
I wanted to ask you out,
Not wanting to be a coward any longer,
I asked you I wanted to care for you but you said 'no never',
It broke my heart.
I cared for you so much,
How I wished you understood,
How I wished to hold you every night,
I cared for you such.
One afternoon i visited you at home,
I walked an hour to get to you,
Although to be honest at times I ran,
For you were ill and I'd do anything for you..
It was that evening,
In your bedroom you asked me out,
I said 'yes' without a beat or thinking,
Atlast I thought 'she's mine'
Since that day two year ago,
I've been happier than I've ever been,
We've had ups and downs and all arounds,
But what's seen us through is we're a perfect team.
So beautiful as ever,
Your a rose in a bed of thornes,
A perfect flower,
Without you im torn. Your my glue.
Whatever names I give you,
Whatever I do and words I say,
Remember these two,
'Love' and 'Cherish'
For you see Lisa,
I love you,
And cherish you,
I will always through thick and thin,
Coz I know you will always support me,
And all I ever wanted from you was a chance,
You gave me that chance and I thank you,
From the bottom of my heart!
You wil always be my,
