Depression
I wrote this poem for my best friend who was going through some bad times in her life.

Falling slowly into a depression
The less I see, the less I breathe
The less I have to tell my confession.
Torn by the situation
Hoping god’ll send me a blessin
Blinded by the color blue
Choosing who I should talk to
Hard to find the emotion that is bottled up inside
It seems almost better to run away and it feels better to hide
Trying to find a way out
Away out my humdrum life
Take a knife into my hand
Hard to look at or tell my friends
Accepted by the best
Rejected by the worse
Trying to come with a new line
But it seems im stuck in reverse
Thinking about suicide
Trying to tell but i continue to lie
Covering my emotions up with a smile
But the truth is im in denial
Trying to live to see another day
But my life,
my life is slowly fading away
