Don't Blame Me
I can't help it if I'm famous!

It's not easy being famous
I don't know how I manage
It was them five stars that done it
It was them that did the damage

It's so hard being clever
It's quite a load to bear
Cause five stars is a lot of weight
To carry everywhere

I guess it was me talent
That showed on every page
That made me head swell up
And put me on the stage

People write me letters
They all know me address
They like to let me know, they know
About me cleverness

Me husband is astounded
At what I've done so far
And he is quite content
Being married to a star

It's true he's put on weight
Since me fame went to me head
Because me time is precious
He eats take away instead

I've learned him it don't matter
If the ironing isn't done
And if all his shirts are dirty
He can buy another one

Me purple stars won't change me
I'll still be loyal and true
Now I know for certain that
I'm better'er than you

It's not me fault I'm clever
That I've been gifted with the lot
I can't be held responsible
For what you haven't got

Now that I'm important
I won't let me self fail
That's why I stay up half the night
Answering fan mail

Being famous keeps me busy
Theres views and ports and graphs
I don't know how I'll find the time
For signing autographs?

Don't blame me for me talent
Or the clever things I do
If you were half as good as me
Then you'd be clever too!
