Blood dripping at his feet
The glass of wine lay shattered His blue eyes wide in fear So worn, alone and battered A tiny whisper leaves his lips with heart felt pain and worry worry for who he'll leave behind and piercing pain in 'I'm sorry' He shuts his eyes to stop from seeing Her face through tears that fall For one more chance to see her again He would surely take back it ALL... Too late, he knew it all was over he shut his eyes in pain, And whispered a silent prayer Never to open them again...
