Love’s Chance

There is a deep sense of tranquility in what your beauty refines,
Where once there was nothing inside, now your grace all but shines.

For all I wish is for a solitary glance
At the beauty that stands before me long at last

Your smile is like a fire on a cold winter’s night
The pulsating feeling rushing over me feels so right

When I see you looking at me my heart all but jumps a beat
I look upon your face into those sinful emerald eyes wishing them to meet

For I must admit that you take my breath away which I can honestly say is rare
The glow of those embers stopping me dead with just one hypnotizing stare

Your smile radiating such a passion that burns deep within my soul
Having you here, being with you, loving you has become my life’s goal

The ways you make me feel when we are together,
Sharing such moments hoping with all my might they will last forever

They say somewhere out there; there is the perfect one,
Now have found you I hope and pray you will come

So I sit here pondering are you worth the risk or is it to great,
But what is life without such risks, and anyway this might just be fate.

So with the risk in hand, and heart and soul on the line, I pray and try
