Twilight
Nighttime in the forest.

Night falls, shades of purple and black
A bobwhite calls, bringing its lover back

Trees sigh, singing a song of love
Bats cry, dancing high in skies above

Twilight time, nocturnal rendezvous
So sublime, the spellbinding hues

Wild balm,  the smell of winding elation
Winds calm, end the forest vibrations

Clouds gather, send warnings to all
Plants lather, rain coming is the call

Night falls, strains of wild and black
A bobwhite call, bringing its lover back
