Losing a Friend
I said something wrong And now he’s gone I should have known all along But as soon as I know it’s dawn I’d have known I was a fool To think I’d be yours But I try to keep my cool So much mystery behind closed doors That I could never imagine Not talking to you Or laughing with you Or being friends with you To you I am true I’ve told you my views Always leaving a clue When I heard the bad news All I could think of Was losing you.
