TOO SHORT, TOO SOON

Your heart empties itself,
no longer filled with me
trickling droplets of my love,
invisible for me to see

The arrow you threw,
has wounded my soul
I feel my pulse melting,
unable to render me whole

I am grasping in darkness,
blinded by my emotions
I’d change myself to gold,
to once more feel, your heart in motion

On the wings on an angel,
you were brought to me, one perfect day,
weaving a fragile thread of your love,
forever to stay

If I breathe without you,
will I feel you closer than my veins?
Till I grow your flowers in me,
wrapped in despair, I remain
