We Were Strangers

My eyes were roaming aimlessly
amidst a tangled crowd,
when his dark eyes
reached out for mine,
and held them quite spellbound.

And in that moment with a blush,
intriguing thoughts collide;
my thoughts with his
taboos are merged
and we touch within our minds.

The moment now is ours alone,
subdued emotions feed.
We taste the truth
we feel the thrill
reflections of our needs.

We hear our inner whispers sigh
and drug us with desire.
Our pulses race
creating sparks,
igniting inner fires.

Then with a wink, he turned away
and headed out the door.
We were strangers
in a crowd
though our eyes said so much more.
