WHISPERING WATER SONG Listen to the whispering song that the slow flowing water makes, as it winds on down the hillside into the little mountain lake. ~ I wade along the sandy shore wanting to cool off and get wet, then with that lacey willow tree it’s a perfect picture that’s set. ~ I’ll whistle because I’m happy as I look into this deep hole, where mother nature has created another window to my soul. ~ Looking deep into that window, the swirling bottomless abyss and you’re the one -- the face I see, with memories of your sweet kiss. ~ Now one more time I am wondering why that time in our lives went wrong. my heart is no longer happy, from my lips sounds no whistle song. ~ Water falls from this mountain lake like thunder, no whispering song. My mind is struck as by lightning now know blame was mine all along 7/21/07 ![]() ABCB 8 syllable format
