Another Kind of Hunger
...completeness from love...perhaps pain from love...but love is worthwhile...

I am hungry.

I hunger for the sight of you.
         I yearn.
         I reach out.

I seek the beauty of you,
         The touch of you,
         The sweetness of your flesh,
         The warmth of your body,
         The brilliance of your smile.

You come to me and, with your touch,
All I seek is thus fulfilled.
         The hunger is assuaged.
         The heart is at peace.

My total being is brought to life,
         All desires met,
         All needs fulfilled.

You are the sun of my existence,
The very joy, laughter, love and life
         That makes my soul rejoice.

You hold my hand and I am complete,
         My soul fulfilled,
         Consumed by joy.
