The Final Sketch
Kansaspoet - a swap quatrain poem, not sure how to explain it

eyes burn, not able to forget
hunger pains as a sign of regret
stabbed, yet can't help but yearn
not able to forget, eyes burn

tossed aside, a used rag doll
played only once before the fall
rigid rock floor, should have died
a used rag doll, tossed aside

innocence, cannot be reclaimed
lost forever and feeling shamed
knowing there is no defense
cannot be reclaimed, innocence

linear etching, a decision made
every thought on being betrayed
faded red, signs of my last sketching
a decision made, linear etching
