Everyone has secrets. Something that for one reason or another they keep hidden; even when it seems that everyone already knows.
It's not easy to keep a secret, at least not for someone who is ready to come out about it. But sometimes, there is no other option.
At least there didn't seem to be one for Jacob Lee Stewart. Having a father whose job involves a political office is pressure enough, but when it's the White House there is no way out. At least, that's what he thinks. But he's not the only one there that has a secret.
John Keen Littledyke is an agent with the secret service though he hasn't had a regular assignment for several years. John has been keeping a secret from everyone around him for the sake of his own, non-satisfying job even though almost everyone has figured it out. Then one day he gets an assignment; one that will change his life forever.
After a chance meeting in France, John is given the assignment of escorting the president's son around Europe. There is only one catch. He can't let Jacob know that he is an agent.
At first, the traveling pair make for an uncomfortable match but with each escapade they begin to discover their similarities. As the days go by, both John and Jacob find themselves drawn to each other. They may come from different backgrounds, different reasons for being there are two specific things they have in common:
Both have secrets.
And both are trying to find a way out.
