I'm not sure how to prove
What you should already know. In what way do I show you How much I love you so? At one time you believed, That I did hold you dear. How should I now convince you That I still need you near? Do I tell you, over and over, Those three words, worn so thin; Tell you, time and time again, Until you finally grin? Or do I speak of something else, Perchance, the times we share? All the good and joyous days; All the moments of despair. Shall I remind you, instead, Of times more intimate? Surely so many nights of passion Can't be illegitimate! I can write all day about it; I could put it in a song; Maybe, I'll get it published So it could last centuries long! It's in all my letters; In everything I do; Every time we touch and speak, I'm saying "I love you!"
